Someone please help me??? :(?

okay... so i really REALLY like this guy... he really likes me back too. he has said i love you and so have i. Ive never felt like this about anyone before. The problem being he is Catholic and i'm Protestant. It really doesn't bother us as we talk about our religion openly to eachother. My parents really dont approve me going out with a Catholic as they feel it can lead to all sorts of problems. I can see their point as we live in Belfast and with all the troubles in the past it could lead to problems. I dont no what to do as i really love him yet i can see my parents point. I cant help who i fall in love with.... what should i do??
