Have you seen the doentary "Promises" about the Israel/Palestine conflict?

No I have not seen it, although I've heard about it, but if you truly want to understand what the Palestinian people are going through while watching a very entertaining and wonderful film, I would recommend the movie "Paradise Now." Its about 2 lifelong friends who are struggling to make an impossible decision after being recruited as suicide bombers, its a wonderful film (oh, and I don't know where you stand on the whole conflict, so I'll just let you know that the film does not take sides). It won the golden globe for best foreign film (2005).
