What is the trigger for most Indian Ocean cyclones?

They occur by the same processes as hurricanes or typhoons, which are the same thing. Thunderstorms develop around a low level low pressure area and intensify it, using the high amount of stored heat from the warm ocean waters beneath them. The Cyclone strengthens until conditions do not allow for more strengthening.
