What is your definition of gentleness and peace in your life?

I strive for gentleness and peace, but sometimes I think my joking around may be missunderstood. When it is and I realize what I've done it crushes me that I may have offended the innocent. Buy the same token, I confess some people seem to bring out the worse in me, and I put them in their place, yet even then I strive for patients in my wording. To be gentle and peaceful is to project good intentions, love, and patients in all we do. We must be sensitive to the needs and feelings of others; however we also must strike a ballance and not allow people to walk on us or others and that takes art of phrase and a lot of grace. We must salt our words with wisdom.
