I've been planning on joining the Air Force and going to college after high school. I've decided I'd like to go to college first because I think if I put it off until after the Air Force I won't want to go and end up dropping out. The only problem with going to college first is I don't know how I'll pay for it. So I was wondering if there's any ways I could pay off student loans and such through the Air Force? I've read about the College Loan Repayment Program but I think it only pays $10,000 dollars. Is this true? And is there a way I could use the GI Bill to pay for it? i ate breakfast at around 6 in the morning didn't eat lunch and at like 3 pm (9 hours later) I had like a little over a quarder liter of smirnoff. They are red, swollen and they form a layer of skin that peels of whenever my lips get wet. If I let my lips be they become cracked and scabbed up. I have tried almost everything under the sun. Best I can describe is that just inside my lower lip where their use to be skin is now raw and like raised and swollen. I also get canker sores if I even cut my lip or irritate it somehow. my top lip forms skin that hangs off and peels off leaving a new layer to form and peel off later. The skin peels of in small sheets. I have constant burning sensation in my lips. When I wake up in the morning they are sometimes stuck together and very sore. I do have a white tongue but only occasionally so I dont think its thrush. I think I have a viral or fungal infection or maybe a yeast overgrowth in my body. My sick little brother?

I'm 15 and my little brother is 12 and he has been sick since this morning at around 5 a.m. I found him silently crying because he has an ear ache. Well our mom slept with him last night because that's what she always does when were sick to help us calm down and relax. Well she was also drunk and it didn't help Brody any. Our dad is at work and doesnt know brody is sick and mom is still in a hangover. He isnt like dying or anything but he does feel bad. His ear hurts nose is stufffed up,sore throat and got sick this morning.has a temperature of 101. I can't take him too the doctor because I am 15 and mom can't do it obviously and dad is at work and wont be home until later.. I'm the only one available and sober enough to take care of him. I've given him liquids and stuff so he don't get deydrated and I gave him some chicken noodle soup to make him feel better. now he's sleepy but is so upset he can't sleep. It sucks because i do feel sorry for him. We share a good brotherly bond and I want to help him fall asleep and get better.He has PTSD.(post traumatic stress disorder) if that tells you anything.He keeps hugging me and crying and stuff and it makes me feel sad :(. Any ideas on what I can do to help him relax and fall asleep?

It is ociated with severe withdrawal symptoms as well, so you don't want to abruptly discontinue it. If you are taking Tramadol for other purposes than to acheive pain relief, than yes, that could possibly lead to psychological delpendence. But it sounds like you are in extreme pain, and you took more than you should not to get high, but to feel better. You need to ask you doctor for Vicodin-stronger and safer than Tramadol, and usually that is what dentists prescribe after procedures anyway, so why she gave you Tramadol is beyond me. You have every right to be comfortable and pain free-just go in a be blunt, explain, and ask. Good luck!

Never saw the film, or read the G.novel. Graphic novels are cool. I enjoyed the one for "V For Vendetta." The Matrix trilogy began as a graphic novel. Plus the others mentioned here. Hollywood has sat up, & noticed them as a legitimate art form, now. This is mainly because they'll chase anything that makes money. These novels are like ready-made storyboards (film making tool). I have just learned that people are working on a reconstruction of the Parthenon in Greece. I have also seen reconstructions of Roman marble sculptures to be on display in museums. I know that reconstructions help people understand history by giving them a realistic image of what once existed, but I think this is wrong. I would much rather see the original sculpture no matter how ruined it has become. I think objects should remain in their original context, and that people themselves must go to them in order to view them. Why do we need to reconstruct things? I think it takes away a vital element of what the sculpture is...we can no longer see what it has become. Because of reconstruction, buildings and sculpture are always new, clean, and perfect. What if we wanted to know what they REALLY looked like? Why can`t we just have a computer simulated reconstruction instead of actually manipulating the artifact itself? I do not like the idea of changing the way things really are, because then they are no longer accurate. I think reconstruction is counter-intuitive. Do you agree with me?

What is your thoughts on Show dogs and Working dogs and their breeders?

I must say, that for a pet dogs with less drive in some breeds are better however i don't think showing a dog is bad. Now there are ALOT of bad breeders that only breed for body type where a truely good breeder will breed for not only body but also the drive that the breed is meant for. The breed I'm getting is a guardian breed and I've been researching breeders for ones that work and use their dogs but also have proper type (body style). I would not consider a breeder that only did conformation because I want to also have the peace of mind that my dog comes from true and tested lines in the field. Now I know some that want that dog that comes from the working lines for the look at me factor however the dogs that are pure working lines are not really set to be a pet for the average person. Also just because a dog is from working lines it doesnt mean it has the DRIVE to work there are more pet quality in litters than true working dogs. Yes they would work but are happier hanging around. Do I condone show breeders no because many research and get working dogs and try to prevent or breed out issues in the breeds. It's very narrow minded to lump all conformation breeders into one category (even those that work their dogs). It's the individual breeder that must be considered. Honestly the American GSD is so far from the original body in the true GSD with a huge angulated backside and larger frames than what they should be. A true GSD should be lighter and less angulated for working and it's better on the hips. A lighter GSD is more agile and nimble and while there are 120+lb GSD's they really are a medium sized dog not meant to weigh as much or outweigh a dane/rottie/corso/boerboel etc. I appreciate a nice looking dog but when it comes to GSD i'm very biased to the German lines and the lighter more agile bodies. I know breeders and I have researched and have marked off a lot of breeders for my breed of choice because I want a real representation that not only has the correct body but also the correct temperment. Making the right choice is researching the breed and their lines. Also getting a first hand look at what the potential breeders do or are doing with their dogs. Some people love that angulated American GSD that is pretty much bred way over the weight. You can't educate those that are narrow minded.

I have unfortunately seen similar situations and it is very difficult. Usually we involve the legal department and they can ist. If the physicians, ethicists, lawyers etc. agree that giving blood will not really improve the outcome it can be declared medically futile. This depends on state law and hospital policies. Usually the family comes around after awhile. Sometimes they will slowly request to withdraw treatments but don't want to withdraw everything at once. It can be a long drawn out process.

Hi, I'm 14 years old and I am becoming increasingly concerned about my mental health. Since the start of the year and in the last few months especially I have been wondering if I may have Bipolar Disorder or possibly Borderline Personality Disorder. Firstly I will tell you about myself, I have always been a very pessimistic and often depressed individual. I spend most of my time thinking philosophically, writing music or drawing, I am a very creative kind of person. I do very well in school, I am one of the year's highest achievers. I only have about 10 friends, of which only two or three that are really close, I have very few female friends, and struggle in relationships because of my shyness. I find myself cut off from the world most of the time. I first though I may be Bipolar a few months ago when I went out with some friends for the day, throughout the day I became more and more hyperactive and I think this was my first manic episode. I felt invincible, like I could do anything, and that I was the best person in the world. This continued for about a week or so, during which I did many stupid things which I now very seriously regret. After this episode I went into depression because of my regret, this was not my first depressive episode though, as I become extremely depressed over very small matters quite a lot of the time. My depression is usually triggered by something, like splitting up with a girlfriend, but even when I am over it I will stay depressed for no reason, I know that I am over my girlfriend but I stay depressed, these episodes usually last about a month. Every now and then I will have different kind of episode, where I will feel happy consciously but be unconsciously sad, which is a strange sensation. I am obsessed with drugs, I have never taken any, but I am constantly feeling more and more need to get some to relieve the pain, and the urge is building and building all the time. I am scared to tell any of my family how I am feeling, I don't know why, I just am. Sometimes I hate the way I look, and try to hide my face, but sometimes I become extremely vain. I don't know for sure what this is that I am feeling, and I would greatly appreciate some advice. Thanks.

Switching Cadillac Bose Speakers to My Honda Civic?

P6860fx/winxp problem?

ok here's the deal. my 6860fx will not load win xp right. i have two issues. first off there is no sound. i tried downloading all the sound drivers i could but it says my sound card is broken. but with vista and 7 it works just fine. i am really stumped. while i like xp this comp will not play any sound at all. the second problem is internet. i have installed three different versions of xp and i cannot get internet in any way. i have time warner road runner high speed online. with vista and 7 internet launches no problem. i have gotten around the graphics driver issue (custom inf file). i am really stumped. i need some serious help. don't worry i am not new to computers so you speak techy talk to me. thanks in advance.

Is my horse reacting to electric fence?

We recently installed a single line of electric wire between my 2 horse corrals. We have separation between the corrals but after awhile they build up enough dirt that they can stand on their dirt "mounds", reach over and bite at one anothers faces. They are playing. My young QH gelding is susceptible to sarcoids and the face bites can potentially turn into sarcoids so I have to be very careful about wounds on him. My older appy must have had his first experience with the "hot wire" because his behavior really changed. It just happened yesterday so last night when I went in to take his fly mask off he spooked several times and did not like me touching his face. I got my husband to approach him and my horse did the same thing. He acted like we were bogeyman and he was such a love bug!! He will lick you to death if you let him. He LOVES people and attention. He was lowering is head and acting strange. He was very agitated. He understandably stayed on the opposite side of the wire, as far away as possible. I was able to get a halter on him and I took him out. We have yard lights but when he approached a dark area he would stop and not move forward. He seemed frightened of the dark. He acted scared of almost everything. This is a horse that is VERY friendly, has good confidence and has no problems with night vision. I can understand that he's upset over the hot wire but will they get so upset that many things bother them until they settle down? He's eating, pooping, drinking and peeing normally so my guess is that this is a behavior problem. I'm worried this will change some things that he normally does without protest and that we'll have to start over??? My love bug is teating me like a stranger and it's really a bummer!

9 month old doesn't crawl on all 4's, sit up or stand. Should I ask a doctor?

He is far sighted and is supposed to wear gles (his prescription is +3.50 in each eye) and he has occular albinism. He can scoot across the floor pretty well on his belly. He doesn't show any interest in sitting up or standing at all. I was wondering if I should ask his doctor about this. He refuses to keep his gles on. I think the main problem with that is because he has metal frames and they're uncomfortable for him. Could his farsightedness play a part in this?

Recipes for broke college student?

ok, so i recently moved out of my parents house and into my own apartment. i don't want to eat ramen noodles and spaghetti for every meal, but i am in college and pretty broke so i can't afford to make really extravagant meals all the time. any one have some interesting recipes that won't cost a fortune to make? thanks!

My son watches a concert he loves very often.. He begs us to play it for him, runs to get his guitar and drumsticks and ''plays'' and sings along all through the songs.. It's wonderful.. I don't like playing it much for him, because it is TV and I'm so sick of it.. but he LOVES it.. So he probably watches 2-3hours per week.. What a bad mom I am, lmao. He doesn't like cartoons or any other shows though.. So that minimizes his tv ''intake'' quite a lot. He's 23mo

i met her on facebook, i am 16 and she's 14 , both of us are students of the best boys and girls schools in dhaka respectively, at first i talked shyly, she is quite aggressive but as time went on i openly talked to her about love, and relationship and career and she responded actively, she shared all her physical stats with me and the one's which she wants in a man are present in me, for example- tall height,brown ee, deep voice etc. but there has also been some small scale quarrels as she can't stand any harsh reality such as she is rich and has no idea about the world and every time after a quarrel she just doesn't talk to me anymore, but it gets fixed the following day, one of my best friend is also on her friend list, whenever he talked with her, the only thing she talked about was me, what kind of person am i, am i good looking, do i have girlfriends and many other small facts and he replied positively which is the truth, but a few days ago while chat i indirectly told her that she is not that good looking, she immidiately stopped talking and told me 'bye', next day i again saw her on chat list, i posted three times but she did'nt reply but instead went off-line but today i again saw her on the list and i asked her how she was and she replied very good and then said nothing else, she has a part time boyfriend and her exam is only 4 days away , so pls tell me does she like me ?

Why are republicans so against welfare?

i have always voted & supported republicans in presidential & midterm elections because i believe we shouldn't raise taxes on job creators or increase wasteful spending while in a reccesion. but ive been deeply angered by alot of republicans who have called people on welfare "sbags" and "robbers' & 'cheats' this makes me mad because i have family members who have always worked hard & have done their best & have paid their taxes, but have lost thier jobs from the reccesion, and have familys to feed but cant afford it, so they use wic & food stamps. they work hard & dont just slack off like the GOP has said. why are republicans so against giving welfare to people like my family who need it?

What is your definition of gentleness and peace in your life?

I strive for gentleness and peace, but sometimes I think my joking around may be missunderstood. When it is and I realize what I've done it crushes me that I may have offended the innocent. Buy the same token, I confess some people seem to bring out the worse in me, and I put them in their place, yet even then I strive for patients in my wording. To be gentle and peaceful is to project good intentions, love, and patients in all we do. We must be sensitive to the needs and feelings of others; however we also must strike a ballance and not allow people to walk on us or others and that takes art of phrase and a lot of grace. We must salt our words with wisdom.

hmmm, i think dimples are always there, if your born with it, but they might become more clear or less obvious depending on the muscles you have surrounding the area. i have dimples on both my cheeks but its more obvious on my left cheek, ive noticed when i lose weight, you can see them much clearer, but when i put on weight they seem to disappear slowly, you can still see it, but not that clear. my fluctuating weight gain/loss, helped me realise this pattern lol. :D i hate my dimples, they make me look like a kid, especially when i got no make up on. :@

I recently changed my wireless network connection now I don't know now to remove the old one. Help?

I recently changed my wireless connection to a new one because the previous one got hacked and became unsecured. I changed it using the same router as the previous one, but this one has a secure and complicated pword and has so far not been hacked. My issue is how do I remove the old network connection which still shows up in the wireless connection list that shows all of the wireless connections that are available. It is still showing as unsecured, and I would very much like to change that so that it is either secure or deleted. I have no intentions of using it again, but I would very much like it deleted. I have windows 7, so how would I go about doing this? Thanks.

Explain Taylor's Theorem?

Taylor's Theorem involves two points, x and c, on an open interval. I can't find a clear answer in any of my texts as to what c is supposed to be. My best guess is that to use the theorem to estimate f(x) you have to first know the value of f(c) as an initial condition. Otherwise, I can't see any way to find f(c) in the first place, if what we are doing is trying to find an approximation for the function f. Is this right, or am I screwed up?

Should I jailbreak my ipod touch 4th gen?

It's really a matter of personal opinion. I myself prefer not to so I can get updates and all for my apps and iPod updates. If you do decide to jailbreak, I heard that the program Spirit works great. Supposedly if you decide to change it back to it's original un-jailbroken condition, doing a full restore will put it back to it's factory default settings. Be aware though that jailbreaking will void your warranty. Also I've heard if you upgrade to the 4.2 iOS, there's no way to jailbreak it. Good luck on your decision and hope I've helped. =)

First, if you are into "Brawling" you shouldn't start training until you grow up. There are few things worse than a trained fighter picking on people that aren't trained. All of that said, if you're tall choose Muay Thai, if you're short pick BJJ, if you're an average height, say 5'9" - 5'11" either of them will do fine. If you plan on competing in mma someday you'll need to do both. Start with BJJ because if you're a fish out of water on the ground people will just take you down and submit you i.e. Mishima in PRIDE.

Problem with sister-in-law?

I am planning on returning to school to get my masters in nursing. For some unknown reason my S-I-L has decided to make my life hell for this. She lives in California, 2500 miles from me and is a Vet. It took her 15 years to do this. What ever, she finally did it, that is all that matters. I will have my masters in two years, hopefully less. My S-I-L has been calling and talking to me then she calls my husband and tells him that I belittled her or I hung up on her or something to that effect. My husband just ignores her. But it is really starting to make me angry. We have never had a good relationship. She has always felt I was never good enough for her brother. She says because of me he never got to go to college. My husband works for the railroad and they have put him thru schooling for his job, so I don't know where she has gotten this idea. Have you ever had bone spurs?

I have never had one, but my son has. The Doctor will use microscopic surgery procedures in most cases, hopefully yours. Just make sure you tell the surgeon that once the spur is removed, you want the band-aid effect, that's like placing something over the hole left where the spur was removed. He/she will know what you mean. It keeps the spur from growing back in the same place. One thing for sure, they won't go away on their own, so it's better to get them off and save yourself a lot of unnecessary pain. Wish for you the very best young lady and hope that when you get the spur removed, hope all goes well and you will be good as new. Good luck.

I'm from the UK but work for a company that serves US travellers visiting mainly Europe. Every year we notice a peak in June, then a mive dip in August, but with a rise again in September. Is their a social/economic/historical etc. reason why travel to Europe declines in August? We're baffled!
